RHYTHM RIDERS MUSIC PRODUCTIONS

Headed by Tabla Guru Pandit Divyang Vakil, Rhythm Riders Music Productions is the umbrella organization for Pandit Divyang Vakil’s music related activities.  Rhythm Riders began with Pandit Divyang Vakil's music institute in India - Rhythm Riders Music Institute and has expanded to educational workshops and professional artist groups.  Mixing modernity with tradition, Indian music with world music, movement of dance with movement of sound, Rhythm Riders artists present music that touches the hearts of all.  Rhythm Riders artists have performed and conducted workshops in places such as Canada, USA, Europe and various parts of Asia.  Artists trained under Pandit Divyang Vakil also perform tabla solos around the world.

The solo, duo and group compositions of tabla like Tabla Ecstasy offer a contemporary form of Indian classical music that appeals to the masses and maestros.  The world fusion band, Taan blends jazz scales with ragas, the dumbek with the sitar and Arabic music with Indian folk music to create an unique global sound, while making audiences jump to their feet.  Korean Kathak dancer Won Joung Jin showcases traditional and contemporary forms of the Indian classical dance Kathak through dynamic performances.  Click on the images below for more information on each.
